"What Washington needs today is leadership, not more politics. We need to return America to the Constitution, and to return to the principles upon which this great country was founded.

"I believe that with your help, this campaign can do just that."

- Bernie Skoch
"It is necessary that a Republic government seeks the welfare of the people rather than selfish private gains that abrogate the rights of the people. Mr. Bernie Skoch has the impeccable leadership to preserve our human rights granted by a divine Being and our inalienable rights guaranteed by our Constitution, thereby preserving our freedoms. His ideas and courage exemplify the people's dream of leadership representation."

- Robert Bartlett
"Bernie is on point in regards to the issues. I know he understands the underpinnings of the Constitution and he understands the economic philosophy of 'Prosperity Economics' on which this country was founded. This foundation of understanding will allow him to go to Washington and not be sidetracked while introducing and supporting solid legislation."

- Tim Costello
"I support Bernie Skoch because he is willing to step up to the plate and fight for what is right for the people. He is willing to listen to the people who put him in office and make choices based on their needs and requests instead of his friends and their opinions. I like how he is straight forward and doesn't beat around the bush when asked questions on how he would make decisions on the issues at hand."

- Doug Kahler
"If we look in our wallets we carry pictures of our greatest leaders: George Washington, Andrew Jackson, U.S. Grant, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln. Most of which were Generals in the United States Military. Coincidence? I don't think so. They were all men of honor, and could be trusted to do the right thing. They were trained to be loyal to the United States and defend her against all enemies foreign or domestic.

We believe Brigadier General Bernard Skoch possesses these same qualities and is the right man to help run our country."

- Dean & Marie Cannon
"I support Bernie Skoch because of his views on smaller government and fiscal responsibility. He truly believes in government BY the people, and I feel he will work hard to get the federal budget and government intrusion on our rights under control. His common sense plans for illegal immigration, healthcare and wasteful spending are exactly what our country needs right now."

- Dave Doerr
"I support Bernie Skoch as a proven leader and man of his word who intends to bring fiscal responsibiltiy and integrity back to our nation's capital. His actions have proven to me that he will represent us as Arkansans by defending our individual freedoms, our free market system and our Constitution without wavering on principles and values. You should really get to know Bernie Skoch!"

- Robin Day
"I support Bernie Skoch because I truly believe he is 'one of us'. He understands our family budget problems, concerns about our public schools, worries over healthcare reform, cap and trade, and the erosion of our constitutional rights. He understands all of these worries and concerns because he is truly one of us, not one of the many millionaire elites who are now running our country."

- Patsy Wootton
"I support Bernie Skoch because he believes in the freedoms of all Americans and is a strong supporter of the Constitution of the United States. He is a man of integrity and has a strong compassion to do what is right for America. He is a humble man and is not afraid to take a stand for what is right. Because of his concern about the future of our country, Bernie has stepped up to the plate to run as a candidate for U. S. Congressman of the 3rd District of Arkansas. He shows us respect by listening to us. He wants our input on laws that will effect each and every one of us. His knowledge of world events, national events, state and local events is astounding. He understands what this country was built on and he wants to help restore it by controlling Big Government with it's corruption by the platform of ideas he has addressed. He has committed 29 years of his life in miltary service to our country and he has a desire to continue to serve the people of this great.state by the values and principles this country was based upon. I believe we need a man like Bernie to represent us."

- Marg Kahler
"Having been in the military ourselves, we understand the sacrifices required of a person dedicated to their Country. Bernie Skoch served 29 years and received the rank of Brigadier General in the Air Force. This is done by good work ethics and fairness to the people. He feels his job is 24/7, not a 2 1/2 day workweek as those in Washington are doing. They are giving themselves auto pay raises when our Country is suffering. Bernie would help control Government spending and hold people accountable for bad decisions. He would not take extravagant business trips at the American people's expense and abuse the use of the Armed Forces as luggage handlers. We feel Bernie is the right man for this position."

Campaign to Elect Bernie Skoch to Congress, P.O. Box 158, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72702

Team Skoch:

As the sun rises on "The Day After," it appears we have fallen short of our goal of being the Republican nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives Arkansas' 3rd District. While we are of course disappointed at the apparent election results, we are in no way disappointed in the amazing success of our campaign in so many ways.

Nine months ago, we challenged a multiple-term incumbent because we were then--as we are now--gravely concerned about the direction of our nation. With a handful of people and scarcely few financial resources, our campaign grew into a significant force for shaping the dialogue of the entire race. As of this morning, it appears our vote count is solidly in the upper half of the field of eight candidates, and a minuscule two percentage points out of the run-off opportunity we sought.

Even more significantly, though, is the group of people who have come together in support of this campaign to wrest control of our political process from the politicians. Virtually every opponent in our race has commented on the "zealousness," "enthusiasm," "energy," "passion," "outspokenness," of you: Team Skoch.

Of the hundred or so candidate events our amazing campaign manager Susie Doerr and I attended, there was not one--not a single one--in which our supporters weren't the most visible, energetic, and downright rowdy of any candidate's. At one particularly notable forum on the distant southern front of the 3rd District (in an opponent's home town) a flustered opponent, asked a challenging question on stage, responded with "This would be a lot easier to answer if I had all the support here tonight that General Skoch does." At another event, responding to a comment that an opponent had "all the billboard advertising in the District," that opponent responded "But Skoch has all the people." Even yesterday--election day--as Susie and I made our way to as many polling places of the District as we could drive, it was Skoch supporters who out-numbered and out-cheered all others at polling places. And the attendance at our watch party last night drew "Wow," and "This attendance is amazing" comments from the television media who attended.

We have heard directly from hundreds of supporters who came to know of our campaign not from our media campaign, but from direct contact with you and those whom you "converted." Even in obscure rural corners of the District we have seen yard signs, bumper stickers, and other direct evidence of your hard work. As we have walked the streets, we have heard from so many people that they were already committed to supporting our candidacy because you worked so long and so hard to spread the word.

This campaign was the direct result of amazing effort by a truly grassroots group of special Americans. Our entire campaign was a volunteer effort. Of the money so generously donated by so many of you, not one dollar went to salaries, fund-raising fees, or consultant fees; it all went to direct printing, media, or other direct costs. Our television ads, radio spots, and unique "rap video" (which drew so much attention) were all done as labors of the heart by you.

As I mentioned at our watch party last night, this campaign is not over. We hope you will stay tuned for a major announcement we will make on May 31st. I promise you it will be an opportunity for all of us to build on the great work we all did in this campaign, and our effort to return government to the people.

May God bless each of you, and may God bless America.

Bernie Skoch
