"What Washington needs today is leadership, not more politics. We need to return America to the Constitution, and to return to the principles upon which this great country was founded.

"I believe that with your help, this campaign can do just that."

- Bernie Skoch
"We have listened to Bernie and believe he can help restore the government that Americans want and need."

- Bob & Nancy Graham
"I support Bernie Skoch because he believes in the freedoms of all Americans and is a strong supporter of the Constitution of the United States. He is a man of integrity and has a strong compassion to do what is right for America. He is a humble man and is not afraid to take a stand for what is right. Because of his concern about the future of our country, Bernie has stepped up to the plate to run as a candidate for U. S. Congressman of the 3rd District of Arkansas. He shows us respect by listening to us. He wants our input on laws that will effect each and every one of us. His knowledge of world events, national events, state and local events is astounding. He understands what this country was built on and he wants to help restore it by controlling Big Government with it's corruption by the platform of ideas he has addressed. He has committed 29 years of his life in miltary service to our country and he has a desire to continue to serve the people of this great.state by the values and principles this country was based upon. I believe we need a man like Bernie to represent us."

- Marg Kahler
"If we look in our wallets we carry pictures of our greatest leaders: George Washington, Andrew Jackson, U.S. Grant, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln. Most of which were Generals in the United States Military. Coincidence? I don't think so. They were all men of honor, and could be trusted to do the right thing. They were trained to be loyal to the United States and defend her against all enemies foreign or domestic.

We believe Brigadier General Bernard Skoch possesses these same qualities and is the right man to help run our country."

- Dean & Marie Cannon
"I support Bernie Skoch as a proven leader and man of his word who intends to bring fiscal responsibiltiy and integrity back to our nation's capital. His actions have proven to me that he will represent us as Arkansans by defending our individual freedoms, our free market system and our Constitution without wavering on principles and values. You should really get to know Bernie Skoch!"

- Robin Day
"I support Bernie Skoch because of his views on smaller government and fiscal responsibility. He truly believes in government BY the people, and I feel he will work hard to get the federal budget and government intrusion on our rights under control. His common sense plans for illegal immigration, healthcare and wasteful spending are exactly what our country needs right now."

- Dave Doerr
"Bernie is on point in regards to the issues. I know he understands the underpinnings of the Constitution and he understands the economic philosophy of 'Prosperity Economics' on which this country was founded. This foundation of understanding will allow him to go to Washington and not be sidetracked while introducing and supporting solid legislation."

- Tim Costello
"I support Bernie Skoch because I truly believe he is 'one of us'. He understands our family budget problems, concerns about our public schools, worries over healthcare reform, cap and trade, and the erosion of our constitutional rights. He understands all of these worries and concerns because he is truly one of us, not one of the many millionaire elites who are now running our country."

- Patsy Wootton
"I support Bernie Skoch because he is willing to step up to the plate and fight for what is right for the people. He is willing to listen to the people who put him in office and make choices based on their needs and requests instead of his friends and their opinions. I like how he is straight forward and doesn't beat around the bush when asked questions on how he would make decisions on the issues at hand."

- Doug Kahler
"Having been in the military ourselves, we understand the sacrifices required of a person dedicated to their Country. Bernie Skoch served 29 years and received the rank of Brigadier General in the Air Force. This is done by good work ethics and fairness to the people. He feels his job is 24/7, not a 2 1/2 day workweek as those in Washington are doing. They are giving themselves auto pay raises when our Country is suffering. Bernie would help control Government spending and hold people accountable for bad decisions. He would not take extravagant business trips at the American people's expense and abuse the use of the Armed Forces as luggage handlers. We feel Bernie is the right man for this position."

- Linda and Henry Napierala

I am a happy signatory to the 'Repeal It!' pledge by the Club for Growth, in which I 'hereby pledge to the people of the Arkansas Third District upon my election to the U.S. House of Representatives, to sponsor and support legislation to repeal any federal health care takeover passed in 2010, and replace it with real reforms that lower health care costs without growing government.

General Skoch, announced challenger to U.S. Representative John Boozman in the 2010 Republican primary, is not only running for Congress, but he is running to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the annual Walt Disney World Marathon.

In spite of freezing temperatures, more than 23,000 runners lined up for the marathon Sunday morning. The 26.2 mile route winds through all four of Walt Disney World’s theme parks.

"I have never run a race in weather this cold," said Bernie Skoch, prior to the start of the marathon.

In spite of the hardships of temperatures in the 20's at the start of the race, 58 year old Skoch completed the marathon in about 4 hours, 54 minutes, putting him solidly in the top third. After finishing the race, Skoch stated, "What a blessing to have a body that lets me do things like this. I was thankful the race organizers recognized all the military members at the start of the race. What an incredible event."
